Fandom

Role: Researcher, Game Documenter, Tester, Artwork

Overview:

Game Concept- Fandom, the card game where you and your “favorite” fan based cards are up against other players and battle to see which one is the ultimate fandom. Eliminate the other players and be the last fandom standing. Win Question cards using the appropriate Response cards to earn a sword or shield. When each round of judgment has been completed, the players goal is to attack opposing players and defend their fandom to the end

What I did:

Researched any possible treads on the internet and used the gathered data to create our game cards.

Helped with putting together a scrum methodology for the completion of the game.

Postmortem

The game itself was an interesting project to work on. I felt that if we had done even more extensive research, this game would've been something big. Overall, We had done an amazing job with gathering the materials and presenting them in class. We had some ups and downs about this game at first, but it seemed like something that would work if we had some idea's creating an entirely new concept.

We finished our card game before  the dead line, but we had made a lot of last minute changes towards our game like the number of cards that were printed out or the consistent debate over each card meaning. Not many of us wanted to finish the game and play test, but we did go with the idea of changing the rules at the end and added new concepts to the game play. Overall, it was successful to the point of getting everything together and presenting our game to the audience.
